Weather Update: Cloud Burst Claims 15 Lives in Himachal, Monsoon Wreaks Destruction Across India

Weather Update:  Monsoon has entered the Indian state in full swing with pleasant showers and significant challenges for some regions. Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Rajasthan in the coming days as per the India Meteorological Department. 

Monsoon has hit the northern hilly states hard with a cloudburst in Mandi district on 30th June, claiming the lives of 15 people, with 58 still missing. 

Continued heavy rainfall is expected in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Sikkim, and West Bengal till 8 Jul, with IMD warning of heavy rain in Maharashtra's Ghat regions, Gujarat, Konkan, and Goa.
