Weather Update: As soon as the monsoon season began, rain has been pouring down continuously in many parts of the country, including the north and south regions. While the pleasant weather has given relief from scorching heat, it has also caused destruction in the hilly states due to cloudbursts and floods.
Talking about the plains, states including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar are experiencing fluctuations in weather. Rain is forecast in several parts of western Uttar Pradesh between July 8 and July 10. Rain and thunderstorms are possible on July 11 and 12 in several areas of the state. Meanwhile, the weather in Bihar changes every day. While some areas are receiving rain, many districts are still suffering from excessive heat. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain in 8 districts: Nawada, Gaya, Jamui, Banka, Bhagalpur, Munger, Katihar, and Purnia.
