A flood alert is issued in Jharkhand, where the release of 17 lakh cusecs of water from the Maithon and Panchet Dams can flood the low-lying regions of the area.

Raised labels of Ganga and Gandak rivers in Bihar resulted in widespread flooding in low-lying areas.

On the other hand, the weather has turned cooler in Delhi-NCR after much heat and humidity, waterlogging, and traffic jams have disrupted daily life.
