Weather Update: Heavy Rains Cause Waterlogging in Delhi-NCR, 4 Killed Due to Storm

Weather Update:  Early morning on Friday, Delhi-NCR witnessed heavy rainfall with thunderstorms and dust storms. While people got relief from the scorching heat at the beginning of May, the sudden weather change caused many troubles for the citizens, including waterlogging and infrastructure destruction. During this time, a major accident occurred when a tree fell on a room in Jafferpur Kalan, South Delhi, killing four individuals, including three children. It is alleged that one person was injured after being buried under the debris.

Flights Affected, Waterlogging in Delhi-NCR

Approximately 100 flights have been affected by bad weather in the national capital and the NCR region. People are experiencing difficulties due to the flight disruption. Apart from that, many places have recorded waterlogging due to the rain. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert regarding the shift in the weather in Delhi.
