Weather Update: The scorching heat is posing a challenge to people in everyday life, with people finding refuge in covers and sun accessories to be out in the sun. The India Meteorological Department has issued an alert for a heatwave on Thursday, with the temperature rising by 2°C in Delhi-NCR.
The maximum temperature recorded in the city on Tuesday was 40°C, and the minimum was 21°C. By Thursday, these could rise to 42°C and 23°C respectively. The weather is expected to remain dry and harsh, with difficult days ahead for people to go out. Experts have warned of the increased risk of heatstroke and advised people to take necessary precautions.
