Weather Update: IMD Issues Heavy Rain Alert in Bihar For Next 48 Hours

Weather Update: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rain and severe winds over the next two days. Many districts may have light to moderate rainfall over the next 48 hours. Heavy rain is expected particularly in the north-central and northeastern districts.  A yellow alert has been issued in 20 districts across the state.

Rain Alert in 20 Districts

North-central and north-eastern districts are expected to experience extra rain. The weather department has kept 20 districts, including Araria, Kishanganj, Supaul, Madhepura, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Samastipur, and East Champaran in ‘Yellow Alert Zone’. Thunderstorms and lightning are expected in several areas over the next 24 hours.
