Weather Update: IMD Issues Heavy Rain & Flood Alert in 41 Districts of Madhya Pradesh

Weather Update: Madhya Pradesh is experiencing flood-like conditions as a result of heavy rain. The water level at Morena’s Pagara Dam hit 655.88 feet. The gates to Bairagi Dam in Jabalpur and Satpura Dam in Betul were opened. Singrauli’s schools have closed.

Red Alert For Heavy Rain

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for heavy rain in Raisen, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Satna, and Rewa. An orange alert has been issued for Guna, Ashoknagar, Vidisha, Sehore, Narmadapuram, Betul, Jabalpur, Seoni, Balaghat, Mandla, Dindori, Anuppur, Umaria, Katni, Sidhi, and Singrauli. A yellow alert has been issued for Bhopal, Gwalior, Indore, Ujjain, Sheopur, Shivpuri, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Dewas, Khandwa, and Harda.
