Weather Update: IMD Issues Alerts For Rain and Thunder Across Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, and Other States

Weather Update:  States across India were experiencing a break from the incessant rain for the past few days, but the monsoon is set to be active again starting from 21 July, with the India Meteorological Department issuing alerts for heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning in several states.

IMD issues yellow alert in Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddh Nagar area of Delhi-NCR for light to moderate rain with thunder. 

Heavy rainfall has been forecasted in UP with a warning of torrential rain in districts of Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Bijnor, and Moradabad. 

A yellow and orange alert has been issued for Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for heavy rain on 21 July and the next two days.
