Weather Update: IMD Issues Red Alert For Heavy Rain In Nine Districts of Uttarakhand

Uttarakhand Weather:  Uttarakhand is under the relentless fury of monsoon, where torrential rain over the days has caused disruption and significant loss of property. 

The India Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for nine districts of Uttarakhand, warning of heavy to very heavy rain in the next two days, with no immediate relief expected. 

Districts under red alert include Dehradun, Nainital, Pauri, Tehri, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Champawat, and Udham Singh Nagar. 

Heavy rain on Sunday night has brought massive damage to multiple locations, with reports of loss of life and property.
