Weather Update: After a brief period of relief with rainfall and cool winds, the effects of heat will intensify as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an extreme heat alert in the national capital and other regions of North India. In the next two days, Delhi’s maximum temperature is expected to rise above 40 degrees. The weather on Sunday was normal, with intense sunshine during the day.
The Meteorological Department predicts that from May 12 to 14, the weather in Uttar Pradesh will be entirely clear and that temperatures will rise for a few days. Lucknow, Meerut, Gorakhpur, Agra, Faizabad, Bareilly, Azamgarh, and Aligarh are all at risk of experiencing extreme heat. It is expected that the maximum temperature in Bihar may reach 42 degrees. In the meantime, Gujarat and Maharashtra are predicted to have strong winds and light rain.
