Weather Update: IMD Issues Yellow Alert For Rain and Storms In Delhi, UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, And More States

Weather Today:  After a spell of unbearable heat and humidity, the weather across India is changing rapidly, with the weather department warning of heavy rain and thunderstorms in several states over the next few days. 

The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for rain, lightning, and dust storms in Delhi-NCR, Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana over the next three days. Rain and thunder are likely in Delhi till 6 May.  

A yellow alert has been issued for Uttar Pradesh, warning of dust storms, lightning, and light to moderate rain till 4 May. 

Rajasthan is expected to have thunderstorms, lightning, and light rain from 2 May, Bihar, till 7 May, and in the mid-hill areas of Himachal Pradesh on 4 and 5 May.
