Heavy rain is expected in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, with cloudbursts possible.

On July 9, the Meteorological Department of Himachal has issued a warning of heavy rainfall in Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur, Una, Bilaspur, Solan, and Sirmaur. The severe rains are forecast to continue until July 14 in some regions. On the other hand, a yellow rain advisory was issued for Dehradun, Tehri, Nainital, and Bageshwar districts in Uttarakhand on Wednesday. Light rain is forecast in some districts.
