Who is Blue Beetle? Movie review, know-how DC Studio's decade-old Latino character came to life
Blue Beetle reviews: Starring the infamous Cobra Kai’s Xolo Maridueña, Blue Beetle a decade-old DC comics superhero character has finally come to new life. The kind of film which always takes the audience by surprise. This would imply that Blue Beetle is a standalone story and has little bearing on DCU's future. Jaime Reyes is the first superhero in this newly created universe, according to the film's director, Angel Manuel Soto. While the internet keeps buzzing gushing over the new superhero franchise which deviates from following the year-old superhero routine and inducts something new, here is everything you need to know about Blue Beetle and its ending.

Blue Beetle movie review

Director- Angel Manuel Soto
Cast- Xolo Maridueña, Bruna Marquezine, Damián Alcázar, Belissa Escobedo, Susan Sarandon, Raoul Max Trujillo, Adriana Barraza, George Lopez, Becky G
Runtime- 127 Minutes
Release date- August 18, 2023

What’s good in the film- The humor, space explorations, and colorful visuals of the film gave it a James Gunn feel. Additionally, it stressed the value of close ties within families. Nothing was overdone, and nothing was omitted that was crucial. It had a distinct plot and wasn't overly concerned with being "woke," in contrast to other superhero movies. This DC film offers a novel perspective to ward off the superhero boredom with its Latino family dynamics.

What’s Bad- Well we are still trying to find one. However, for some reason, a segment of the audience believes that the movie becomes cringe as it progresses and will best suit the children rather than adults who genuinely want DC Studio to make a thud comeback.

Who is Blue Beetle?

Jaime Reyes is a superhero with Mexican American heritage who appears in DC Comics comic books. Puerto Rican director Angel Manuel Soto was given the opportunity to helm "Blue Beetle" as a result of his distinctive Latino perspective Soto was asked to direct 'Cobra Kai' actor Xolo Mariduena with a focus on his Latino identity by Warner Bros. and DC. It's interesting to note that the character known as "Blue Beetle" has been around for a while. He first appeared as Dan Garret in "Mystery Men Comics" in 1939, and then as Ted Kord in "Captain Atom" in 1966. Jamie Reyes is fresh to join the list.
