UP News: Vehicle Carrying 10 Family Members Collided With School Boundary Wall, 8 Dead

UP News: Eight people were murdered, including the groom, when a speeding SUV crashed into a college wall on the Meerut-Badaun highway in Uttar Pradesh's Sambhal area. The tragedy occurred outside Junawai town on Friday evening, when a Mahindra Bolero carrying ten persons from Hargovindpur village collided with the Janata Inter College boundary wall, allegedly after the driver lost control. According to media accounts, the truck was part of a wedding procession on its way to Sirsoul hamlet in Badaun district.

Five people were announced dead on the spot. Three others died of their injuries while receiving care at a government hospital. Two survivors are still in serious condition and have been sent to a higher medical institution in Aligarh. The police have initiated an inquiry to identify the exact cause of the collision.
